Why support the Bollandists?
If we except a small subsidy from the Belgian «Fondation Universitaire» for the journal Analecta Bollandiana, the Société des Bollandistes has to sustain its activities entirely by its own means. Maintaining the library at a level of excellence, confronting the costs of new publications and, above all, paying the salaries of the lay collaborators is a constant challenge.
In order to support the Bollandists’ activities a fund has been created by the Belgian Fondation Roi Baudouin (FRB/KBS).
In the Benelux, tax deductible donations can be made directly on the Bollandist Fund managed by the Fondation Roi Baudouin — Koning Boudewijn Stichting (FRB/KBS) through bank transfer to the FRB/KBS account number:

- In Belgium: a gift of 40 euros or more made via FRB/KBS entitles you to a tax reduction of 45% of the amount actually paid and stated on the certificate.
In Europe: via Transnationalgiving.eu you can make cross-border donations within Europe and benefit from all the national tax advantages for donations. And then, they should follow the procedure specific to each country in the document attached.
Direct, non-tax deductible donations can be made to the account of the Société:

In the USA, you can support our activities in a tax-efficient way through a contribution to the American Friends of the Bollandist Society at the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS). Because KBFUS is a public charity, within the meaning of Sections 501(c)3 and 509(a)1 of the IRC, donors may claim the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for their contributions.

Amongst our 500,000 book collection there are many that can benefit from being restored. You can choose the book you would like to adopt for restoration from our collection of books printed before 1800.
For an adoption of 250 euros or more, your name will figure on a specialised bookplate inside the book and in the special section of our journal, Analecta Bollandiana.
